A disappointing Monday night for the Lads meant it was Boro who won the derby-not-derby on Teesside.
However, losing was far from our biggest concern of the night, with Ross Stewart and Dennis Cirkin looking like they've picked up significant injuries which could cause havoc across our squad.

A week is a long time in football - and despite the last 7 days disruption, Sunderland appear be stronger than they have been for some time.
However, a first 'derby' of the season is sure to test the Lads, as we make our way to Boro on Monday night a game that will be live on Sky.
The Boro have been struggling so far this season and sit in an unexpected 20th position.

What a start its been - eight points in five, with two wins on the road.
It wasn't the most spectacular display, but it was a big three points on the road at Stoke City that we'll gladly take.

Sunderland's unbeaten run came to end last night with a 2-1 defeat at Bramall Lane, but a battling performance with 10 men mean we head to Stoke still in fairly positive mood.
However, a 91st minute equaliser from the Potters will also have lifted the moon at the bet365 Stadium as we venture further south yet again.
Its been six years since we last faced Stoke City, so we roped in Chris from Stoke City podcast Wizards Of Drivel to give us the lowdown on their season so far.
