What an exciting day - fixture release day!
Myself, and regular Dave Lawrence and Brad Sharpe got together to give some "live" reaction to the fixture list being announced, chat about the opening game of the season and which games we are most excited for.
We also touch quickly on the ownership news, and Lynden Gooch's new two year contract.

It was a long four seasons but, non the less, there were still some gems.
The group get together to put together there League One XI draft - and the rules couldn't be simpler.
1. Each guest takes it in turns to pick one player, but once that player has been picked, they can not be picked by another guest.
2. No more than two loan players.
3. You can only play in one of three formations - 442, 433, 352.
There's some expected picks, bizarre picks and odd omissions - but who has the best team, Graham, Brad or Dave?

It's not often you want to go back and re-live a season in League One, but with Sunderland now officially promoted and an EFL Championship side as of July, we thought we'd put together the best bits What The Falk as we reacted to Sunderland season throughout 2021/21.
The early hope of promotion, the emergence of Dan Neil, the 5-1 defeat at Rotherham, Jermain Defoe's ill fated return, the brilliance of Ross Stewart, every last minute winner and THAT day at Wembley.

WEMBLEY!
There's one more big step to go, but a 93rd minute strike from Patrick Roberts ensured that we would be going to Wembley for a chance at finally, FINALLY, getting out of League One.

What a night.
An electric evening at the Stadium of Light saw the Lads take a 1-0 win into a massive second leg at Hillsborough and - come what may - it was a memorable night on Wearside, harking back to the early days of SOL.
